Ahead of the 2023 Hector's official debut, the car has now been leaked by a UK-based car customisation shop that goes by the name hertstintandwraps on Instagram.
The new Hector will be introduced in India on January 5th, 2023. It will be among one of the first launches in the country next year
While there are aesthetic changes aplenty, the alloy wheel design on the new Hector will remain the same.
At the rear of the new Hector sits slightly tweaked tail lamps as well as new bumper for a more modern and refreshed look.
The new Hector is likely to continue along with the same set of engines - 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines (hybrid/mild-hybrid) – and 2.0-litre diesel unit.
One of the key updates on the upcoming Hector SUV will be the use of Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) which will enable features such as blind spot detection, forward collision warning, and lane departure warning.
Inside the new Hector will sit a bigger 14-inch touchscreen. There will also be an updated dashboard with a double-layered look and horizontally placed D-shaped AC vents.
The new MG Hector will continue to face heat from rivals such as Tata Harrier and Jeep Compass.
